☁ This Morning’s Sky and Wind
This morning is cloudy with a temperature of 22°C. The chance of precipitation is 60%, but with only 1 mm of rain forecast, it doesn’t look like there will be any heavy downpours. The breeze coming through the window is gentle, just as forecast—a refreshing wind of about 2–4 m/s. Opening the balcony and front doors to let the breeze in makes the house feel pleasantly fresh. Looking outside, the fresh green cherry blossoms sway gently, and the occasional stronger gust of wind adds to the springtime atmosphere.

🍞 Breakfast and Mom’s Condition
This morning, I made some simple French toast. It’s a simple dish: just soak bread in an egg mixture made with two eggs, milk, and sugar, then fry it in a pan with oil. While brewing coffee, I called Mom from the kitchen. She grumbled a bit but went to the bathroom, then sat down right away to eat breakfast. “I’m sleepy—I must have a sleeping sickness,” she said in her usual tone, but when I told her, “You can sleep after you eat, take your medicine, and check your blood pressure,” she ate slowly and took her medicine. She’s now lying down watching TV, and she should sleep for the next hour.

🧺 Weather and Household Chores
The weather has been unstable this week, so it looks like we’ll have a few days where it’s hard to decide whether to do laundry. I don’t have laundry to do today, but depending on the weather tomorrow, I’ll decide whether to hang it outside or take it to the laundromat. If the weather is bad, Mom’s migraines tend to persist, so I’m a little worried that we might see more days like yesterday where she says, “My head hurts, I feel sick.” As for this morning’s chores, I ran the dishwasher and that’s one thing off the list. Phew, that’s a relief.

👨👦 Family Support and Morning Plans
My younger brother has been coming by since last night to check on my mom, which has been a huge help. Thanks to that, I should be able to carve out a little time for myself this morning to work on my blog and study computer skills. Having this kind of time really gives me some mental breathing room.

🛒 Afternoon Shopping Plans
This afternoon, I plan to go shopping depending on how Mom is feeling. My top choice is Nishihara San-A. Kyozuka San-A was crowded yesterday, so I expect it to be even busier today. I’m hoping Nishihara San-A will be less crowded since their food court is currently under renovation. I just want to get around as much as I can without overdoing it.
