🌤 This Morning’s Sky and Temperature
This morning in Urasoe, the temperature was **19°C**.
A gentle breeze and soft sunlight made for a calm start.
The forecast calls for a high of **23℃** with wind speeds of **1-3m/s**.
Cloudy skies are predicted for the afternoon, but the air feels a bit brighter than yesterday.
Since rain is forecast for tomorrow, I ran the washing machine this morning.
When laundry piles up, it weighs on my mood, so it’s reassuring to get it done while it’s still sunny.

🍵 Mom’s Morning Routine and a Slow Start
While boiling water and brewing tea, I called out to Mom. This morning, she seemed to get up easily.
But actually, she just needed to use the bathroom and was about to head back to bed.
“Sit down, eat breakfast, take your medicine, then go back to sleep,”
I said to stop her.
Even after sitting in the chair, she didn’t move for a while.
When I said, “Eat your breakfast, drink your tea,”
she finally started moving slowly.
Today she had half a slice of bread, a banana, and a little tea.
After that, she lay down again. I think resting for about 30 minutes should settle her.
Later, there’s the “100-Year-Old Exercise,” but whether she’ll go is uncertain.
I can almost see her fussing about it, but I plan to try waking her anyway.

🛒 Shopping Plans and Today’s Schedule
Since I went shopping yesterday evening, there’s nothing urgent today.
We have plenty of vegetables, so I’ll decide when to shop based on what’s in the fridge.
It looks like I’ll have a rare chance to relax this morning, which feels a bit lighter.

💻 Afternoon Computer Class
Computer class starts this afternoon.
They asked me to take photos of the class since they’re starting an Instagram account.
My schedule looked free, so I agreed to help with the photos and
scheduled my afternoon class too.
It feels good to combine errands to avoid extra trips.
I’m actually looking forward to seeing what kind of photo session it’ll be.
I plan to post about it on my blog sometime soon.
🌸 Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom and Memories of My Father
This week’s cherry blossoms are truly in full bloom.
Their color is deep, and the flowers bathed in the morning sun bloom proudly.
The cherry tree below our apartment is at its peak now, and other trees are starting to bloom one after another.
Just looking at them soothes my heart.
Every day, my mother watches them from the balcony and reports,
“The birds are coming!”
When he was alive, my father also enjoyed watching the cherry blossoms from the balcony,
looking forward to the birds arriving.
Thinking that father and son shared the same view, feeling the seasons in the same way,
warms my heart a little.
I’d love to photograph the birds, but they fly away the moment I get close, so it’s quite difficult.
I hope I can get at least one shot while the cherry blossoms are still in bloom.

🧺 Wrapping up today
The washing machine should be finishing soon.
Once everything’s hung out to dry, I plan to try waking Mom again.
Today’s schedule will change depending on Mom’s health and mood,
but I’ll start slowly, hoping for a calm, uneventful day.
