🌤 This Morning’s Sky and Wind Conditions in Urasoe
This morning in Urasoe, thin clouds began to spread at dawn, but the sky remained calm with patches of sunlight breaking through. The temperature was around 22–24°C, and while humidity was on the high side at 70–80%, a 7–8 m/s breeze blowing from the northeast made it feel more refreshing than expected.
Stepping out onto the balcony, I could see low clouds moving quickly across the sky. Opening the front door and balcony allowed a gentle breeze to flow through the house—it was a truly pleasant morning. It was a light breeze that helped me forget the heavy air that usually follows the start of the rainy season.

🛏 My Mother’s Health and a Morning Snapshot
My day started this morning by waking up my mother, but she seemed very sleepy and couldn’t quite get out of bed. She didn’t seem to have much of an appetite for breakfast either. We managed to get her to take her medicine, and then she went back to bed. During the rainy season, atmospheric pressure fluctuates significantly, leading to days when her health is prone to ups and downs. So, I decided not to push her today and to spend the day at her own pace.

🧺 Deciding on Housework and Shopping in the Morning
I had finished the laundry yesterday, and there was only enough for one load in the dishwasher this morning, so I had some relatively free time in the morning. I’d really like to go shopping, but when my mother is in a deep sleep, it’s hard to find the right time to go out.
Since she’s feeling a bit off today, I feel it’s better to quickly run errands while she’s resting rather than forcing her to go out. In the daily routine of caregiving, plans change depending on how she’s feeling that day. There’s no choice but to take it slow and make the best decision in the moment.

🚗 Installing the Car Audio System and Setting Up the Car
Yesterday, I also worked on the car, removing the navigation system and installing a car stereo. Although I struggled a bit with the wiring and connecting the backup camera, I managed to get it working so we can listen to the radio again. It really does make a difference in the car when FM Okinawa is playing.
All that’s left is to get smartphone mirroring working, so we can use a map app as a navigation system—we’re almost there. It’s a huge sense of accomplishment to have gotten this far with a DIY project.

🌧 The Rainy Season and Fluctuations in Health
This week, both my mother and I had many days when we weren’t feeling well, making it feel like a particularly long week. My mother is sensitive to changes in the weather; on rainy days or when the barometric pressure drops, she inevitably feels sluggish and spends more time lying down.
As for me, I started taking new blood pressure and kidney medications on Monday, and I’ve been feeling lethargic and fatigued while my body adjusts. It’s normal to feel sluggish right after switching medications, so I plan to take it easy for a while and let my body get used to them gradually.

🌱 Summary: Welcoming the Weekend with the Help of the Breeze
This week has been a bit tough both physically and mentally, but this morning’s refreshing breeze gave me a sense of relief.
During the rainy season, our health tends to fluctuate, and things often don’t go as planned, but on days like these, it’s especially important not to push yourself too hard.
I’d like to spend the weekend taking it easy, with the intention of recharging.

“If you often feel tired or stiff—especially on rainy or humid days—this heating pad brings quick comfort. It warms gently, relaxes the shoulders and back, and is perfect for anyone who wants simple relief at home.”
“For busy days when you can’t slow down, this mug keeps your tea or coffee warm for hours. It’s spill‑proof, easy to carry, and perfect for caregivers or anyone who needs a reliable drink by their side.”
