☁️ This Morning’s Weather
It’s cloudy in Urasoe this morning.
The temperature is 23°C, with a high of 25°C expected, and humidity is at 86%.
The wind is strong at 8 m/s. Although the sun peeks out occasionally, thick clouds cover the sky, making it look like rain is on the way.
The wind is too strong to open the windows wide, so I’ve left the balcony door and the front door slightly ajar to let the breeze through.
Occasionally, strong gusts blow in, causing the young cherry leaves and bamboo to sway vigorously.
🧓 My Mother’s Morning Routine
This morning, I woke my mother up while preparing coffee.
She got up without any trouble, but halfway through her bread, she said she wanted to “sleep,” took her medicine, and went back to bed.
Since I took her to the “Oki Exhibition” yesterday, she might still be feeling the fatigue from all the walking.
She’s scheduled for day care this afternoon, but it’s about fifty-fifty whether she’ll actually go.

There’s no laundry to do this morning, and I cleaned up the dishes last night, so I’m able to take it easy.

The laundromat was empty in the morning, but it might have been crowded in the evening.

This morning, planes from Futenma Air Station have been taking off and landing repeatedly since just after 6 a.m., and the noise is terrible.
It’s so loud that even my mom wakes up occasionally to complain, “It’s so noisy.”
Lately, in addition to regular planes, Osprey aircraft seem to be flying as well, and the loud noise echoes throughout the area.
Combined with the cloudy sky and strong winds, this noise was drowning out the morning’s tranquility.
🌿 The View from the Apartment Garden
In the apartment garden, the young leaves of the cherry trees were swaying in the strong wind, and the bamboo was bending.
The sun kept peeking in and out, creating unsettling weather—not cold, but unsettling nonetheless.
As I listened to the sound of the wind and watched the swaying trees,
it was a morning that made me feel, “Today is going to be a day to take it easy.”
