🕙 Morning Follow-Up and Outing Prep
Mom woke up once in the morning but skipped her “100-Year-Old Exercise.” She got up again around 10 a.m.
Later, she said she wanted to go to the post office. When I asked why, she explained she wanted to record her pension deposit. She hurriedly changed clothes, saying she had errands in the afternoon, and we headed to the post office. After updating her account at the ATM, she requested, “I want to go to Wafutei.” We headed to Keizuka Sanei.

🍱 Lunch at Wafutei
Arriving at 11:30, there were already three groups waiting. We were called in about ten minutes and sat at a six-person table for two.
Mom said she wanted “something light,” so she ordered the **Lunch Set with Choice (Tempura Rice Bowl + Simmered Dish Platter)**, while I got the **Tempura Set**.
Since Mom loves shrimp, I gave her one of my shrimp tempura pieces. In exchange, she offered me some of her simmered pumpkin, so we swapped pieces. Since she also likes chawanmushi, I gave her mine too, saying, “Just eat what you can, but please try to eat as much as possible,” as we slowly made our way through the meal.
She ate about 80% of the tempura rice bowl and finished almost all of the simmered dish. I was relieved she ate so well today.
After eating, we drank tea and relaxed a bit. I gave her her medicine before heading to pay. Mom went to the restroom during this time, and I followed to guide her.

🛒 The Journey Home
When Mom returned from the restroom, she asked, “Do you need to shop?” Since I didn’t, we headed straight home.
We took the elevator, and as I guided her back home, she settled into her nap routine. I then went directly to my computer class.

🖥 Computer Class and Tax Filing Crowds
Arriving at Yuino-machi, the parking lot was full due to tax season. A parking attendant directed us to a distant lot beside the National Theater.
Inside the building, the usually quiet first floor was packed with chairs, and staff were guiding the steady stream of arriving people.
I told them, “I’m here for the computer class,” and they let me through. I took the elevator to the classroom.
After getting my temperature checked and making my next appointment, there was also a photo shoot for Instagram today. They asked if it was okay to show my face, and I agreed without issue. After the shoot, they adjusted my schedule slightly, and I took my usual 50-minute class.

🌤 Unexpected Sunny Weather and Chores After Getting Home
Stepping outside, I found unexpectedly clear skies despite expecting clouds in the afternoon.
I stopped by Make Man for a few items before heading home.
It was hot inside, so I opened the windows to let the breeze in. I woke my mother from her nap, turned on the TV, and said, “Don’t fall asleep.”
After bringing in the laundry, I saw it was thoroughly dry. My mother said, “I’ll fold it, leave it here,” and slowly began folding it.

🍳 Time to Prepare Dinner
As evening approached, I looked inside the refrigerator, pondering, “What should I make?”
Today had its ups and downs, but I think it was a peaceful afternoon—Mom ate well, we managed to go out, and her computer class ended without incident.
The cherry blossoms visible from the balcony after getting home are lovely too.
