🚗 The Sky and Our Departure

As we set off in the car, I noticed a few dark clouds, but since the chance of rain was low, I felt confident about heading out.

There were no sudden showers, and by the time we were heading home, the sky had cleared completely, revealing a cloudless blue sky.

🛒 To Kyozuka San-A

In the afternoon, after dropping my mother off at day care, I went shopping.
After debating where to go, I decided to head to Kyozuka San-A.
When I pulled into the second-floor parking lot, there happened to be one spot open near the entrance, so I parked without any trouble.
The store was quiet, but the ATM area seemed to be the only crowded spot.
Actually, when my father was still alive, we used to shop at Kyozuka San-A quite often.
The reason was that they had a very good selection of wheelchairs.
These days, it seems wheelchairs are available at Parco, Ginowan San-A, and Nishihara San-A as well, but back then, I rarely saw them.
In that regard, Kyozuka San-A had wheelchair stations on every floor,
and even if I couldn’t find one, I knew I could always get one on the first floor.
While many stores operate on the principle of “if they don’t have it, they really don’t,”
Kyozuka San-A gave me the peace of mind that “they’ll always have one,” which was a huge help whenever my father went out.
It was a place that really took care of us back then.

🕯️ Preparing for the Equinox

There were many offering sets lined up on the shelves, and when I looked it up, I found out that the Spring Equinox (March 18–24) starts this week.

I finally understood why my mother had said she wanted to “buy offerings.”

🥢 Picking Ingredients for Tonight’s Dinner

I wandered around pushing my cart, checking the discount stickers and trying to remember what I had in the fridge.

I finally decided on **yakisoba**.

Since I already had bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, and thinly sliced pork at home, I just bought the noodles.

☕ Restocking

I bought some coffee, which I was running low on, and some salmon.

After that, I walked around the store a bit, but since there was nothing else I needed to buy, I finished my shopping.

🍩 A Break at Mister Donut

I peeked into Mister Donut and saw a single-person seat was open, so I parked my cart nearby and went to order.

There was no line, so I bought a snack for my mom and enjoyed coffee and a donut inside the shop myself.

I did a little web surfing before leaving and heading home.

🏡 Time After Getting Home

It was a calm, windless day, so the laundry dried nicely.

After bringing it in, I spent some time working on a blog draft while waiting for my mom to get home.

I’ve already washed the rice and set the timer, so I can relax a bit before making dinner.

🍽️ Dinner

For dinner, I made yakisoba and avocado.
The yakisoba noodles were on sale for 30 yen off, so I bought them.
As for the avocado, I used one I’d bought a few days earlier because my mom had said she wanted to eat it.
