🌺 Visiting the Nishihara San-A Food Court on Its Opening Day with My Mom

🍔 A Look at the Food Court’s Early Opening and New Stores

Nishihara San-A is currently undergoing renovations, but the food court opened early today.

The two new stores are **“AceBurg”** and **“Irokaji”**, and they’re joined by **“Baskin-Robbins,” “KFC,” and “Tsukiji Gindako”**.

Since it was the first day, veteran staff were on hand to support the part-time workers, and while things were a bit hectic overall, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

🚗 Arrived with Mom; From the Parking Lot to the Food Court

My mother and I arrived around 12:30 PM while out shopping.

Since it was a weekday and traffic was light, I chose the **4th-floor parking lot near the entrance** to spare my mother’s legs. As expected, it was empty, and I was able to park right next to the elevator, which was a big help.

We went straight down to the first floor and headed to the food court. Although it wasn’t crowded, customers were constantly coming and going, creating a pleasant bustle.

🧾 Ordering Hamburg Steaks at “AceBurg”

The ticket machines are quite large, and you can purchase tickets for “AceBurg” and “Saifu” from any of them.

My mom mentioned her tooth was hurting, so she chose the **Japanese-style hamburger steak**, which is easier to eat. I went with the **cheese hamburger steak**.

For our set meals, we both chose the **rice, salad, and soup** option.

When I went to get water, the water dispenser was still under construction, but a staff member politely told me, “Please use the water at the counter.”

🍽️ First-Day Confusion and the Taste of the Hamburg Steak

About 15 minutes after ordering, our number was called. When I went to pick up our food, they were warming the griddle and preparing our trays.

However, the trays were surprisingly heavy, and carrying two—including my mother’s—was quite a load. If you’re a woman dining alone, it might be better to carry one tray at a time.

When I returned to my seat, I noticed that **the sauce for the Japanese-style hamburger steak had been placed on my tray**. It’s the first day, so I suppose it can’t be helped. My mother said she wanted to eat with chopsticks, so I cut the hamburger steak into small pieces and poured the sauce over it for her.

The sides were broccoli and corn, and since the salad contained the same ingredients, there was a bit of overlap. This might be improved in the future.

🛍️ Post-meal shopping and upcoming new store information

After we finished eating, I noticed they’d switched to a system where you return dishes to each individual store. The previous central return counter is gone, and it looks like **“31 Ice Cream”** will be moving into that space.

After that, we did some shopping in the food section and headed home.

On April 24, **“Matsumoto Kiyoshi” “Jewelry Store,” “Akachan Honpo,” “GU,” “Uniqlo,” and “3COINS”** are scheduled to open.

Furthermore, there will be a **live broadcast by FM Okinawa** on the 29th, so there’s even more to look forward to.

✨ Summary

On the first day of the Nishihara Sanei food court, even though some areas were still under construction, the place was bustling, and I was impressed by the staff’s courteous service. I had a fun time experiencing the new shops with my mother, including a few minor mishaps.

With new stores set to open one after another, I plan to visit them little by little and document my experiences.
