🌡️ This morning’s air and temperature
The morning temperature is 23°C.
The forecast calls for 25°C by noon, with cloudy skies and occasional rain, and an 80% chance of precipitation. It’s safe to assume it will rain.
There’s almost no wind; even with the balcony and front door open, the air isn’t moving, so I’m using a fan to blow air from the entrance into the room to try to ease the muggy heat a little.

⏰ Morning Events and Mom’s Condition
Around 6 a.m., I woke up to the sound of heavy rain.
I dozed off and on until I finally got up at 7 a.m.
While preparing bread and coffee, I tried to wake my mother up, which led to the usual battle of “I’m not getting up~.”
After I urged her, “It’s okay to go back to sleep for a bit, but please eat breakfast and take your medicine,” she finally got up, took a bite of bread, drank some pumpkin soup, and took her medicine.
After that, she relaxed in bed while watching TV.
She has day care this afternoon, but depending on her mood, she might decide she “doesn’t want to go.”

🛒 Yesterday’s Shopping and Surprising News
Yesterday, I went to the farmers’ market to buy bananas.
Tamanara (cabbage) and daikon radishes were cheap, and island garlic was also available. It had a great aroma and taste—much better than the bottled kind—so I bought a large quantity.
However, since it has a high water content and is difficult to store long-term, it’s a seasonal treat I can enjoy only until around October.
And then, some shocking news…
A notice that the **“Ajimaa Card”** I’ve always used is being discontinued.
While it can still be used at some A-Coop stores, it’s being discontinued at all Farmers Market locations.
According to the JA Okinawa website:
– Points will be awarded until March 30
– Points can be used until June 30
So if you have one, be sure to use it soon.

🌿 This Morning’s View from the Balcony
The air is moist from the early morning rain.
Every time a gentle breeze blows, the cherry blossom branches sway, and blue cherries sway gently between them.
Thick rain clouds stretch out in the distance, and it looks like it might rain again.
The entire garden is enveloped in the quiet stillness after the rain.
