☀️ This Morning’s Sky and Temperature in Urasoe City
Good morning.
This morning in Urasoe City, we have **clear blue skies**.
The temperature is **around 23°C**, with a **gentle breeze of 2–3 m/s**—it feels very refreshing.
Humidity is also on the low side, so it looks like it’s going to be a day where the outdoor air feels pleasant right from the morning.
The sky visible from the balcony is bright,
and it was the kind of morning that makes you think, “Today is going to be a good day.”

🧺 Morning Chores and Mom’s Breakfast
I got started a little earlier than usual this morning, beginning with washing the mats.
While I put the toilet mat and bath mat in the washing machine,
I brewed some coffee and prepared breakfast.
After waking my mother
I woke my mother and took her to the bathroom.
When she came back, she said, “I’m going back to sleep,”
so I told her, “Sit down, eat your breakfast, and take your medicine first,” and we moved on to breakfast.
Breakfast Menu
Mom picked up the sata andagi I bought yesterday and
said happily, “I’m having this for breakfast.”
She ate it with green tea, a banana, and half a cup of yogurt, took her medicine,
and then lay down in bed to watch TV.
Once the morning is taken care of like this, I can breathe a sigh of relief.
She has day care this afternoon, so I plan to let her take it easy this morning.

🌺 Seimi Talk and the Weekend in Okinawa
Since my father’s first anniversary memorial service just ended, our family is taking a break from Seimi this year.
However, last weekend, the Seimi appetizer pickup areas were packed everywhere.
It seems March 26th was the peak.
It seems many people visited gravesites in the rain, but
the forecast for this weekend is sunny, and temperatures are expected to rise.
Sun protection is a must.
Lots of Rental Cars
And lately, there are so many rental cars.
Even when driving on the national highway, the area is packed with them,
and since people are driving in unfamiliar territory while looking at their GPS, there are a lot of sudden stops.
It’s important to keep a safe following distance and drive carefully.

🍚 Morning Chores and Today’s Lunch
There weren’t many dishes this morning, so I plan to wash them all together with the ones from lunch.
Once the laundry is done, I’ll hang the mats out to dry,
and then it’ll be time to write my blog.
I also successfully finished the **task of washing the rice**, which I mustn’t forget.
All that’s left is to press the button.
I haven’t decided on lunch yet,
but I plan to figure it out based on my mom’s appetite and mood.

🌞 A Relaxing Afternoon for the First Time in a While
Since I got started early this morning,
I’ve had a generally relaxed start to the day.
A leisurely morning
My mom is going to day care this afternoon,
so it looks like I’ll have some **quiet time alone** for the first time in a while.
Plus, the weather is sunny and clear.
The light streaming in through the window feels wonderful,
and I have a feeling I’ll be able to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

📝 Summary
This morning in Urasoe City, a refreshing blue sky stretched out,
and my chores went smoothly, making for a pleasant start to the day.
My mother also ate breakfast calmly,
and this afternoon, I’ll have some time to myself for the first time in a while.
It looks like I’ll be able to spend a peaceful day here in sunny Okinawa.
